The governorship candidate of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) in the forthcoming Osun State governorship election, Dr. R.O. Saliu, popularly known as Orísunlàgbà, has reiterated his commitment to building an inclusive state where governance prioritises the welfare and aspirations of the people.
In a message titled “Osun That Works for All,” the PRP candidate said the state possesses enormous potential and requires leadership that listens to the people, delivers quality service, and lays a solid foundation for future generations.
According to him, the party’s vision is to bring government closer to the people by addressing key challenges affecting residents across the state.
In a Statement Obtained by TheCasterNews, Dr. Saliu identified cleaner communities, functional healthcare, employment opportunities, improved infrastructure, effective drainage systems, and stronger support for small businesses as critical areas that require urgent attention.
He added that a PRP-led administration would place teachers, healthcare workers, artisans, market women, and other grassroots stakeholders at the centre of policy formulation and implementation, stressing that sustainable development begins from the grassroots.
The governorship hopeful also urged residents to remain hopeful and continue supporting one another while working towards a brighter future for the state.
He maintained that every resident should have equal opportunities to succeed based on merit rather than personal connections, pledging to serve the people with dedication if elected.
Dr. Saliu concluded by calling on supporters to mobilise for the PRP ahead of the election, urging them to vote for the party and promote its message of inclusive governance across Osun State.
