The governorship campaign organisation of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) in Osun State has officially unveiled members of the Rasaq Oyelami-Obasanjo Saliu Campaign Organisation (ROSCO), which will be coordinated by the Orisunlagba Campaign Council (OCC) ahead of the August 2026 governorship election.
The announcement was made in Osogbo on Tuesday in a statement obtained by TheCasterNews.
The PRP governorship candidate, Dr. Rasaq Saliu Oyelami Orisunlagba, Addressing Journalists, explained that the composition of the campaign council followed extensive consultations with the four pillars of his political structure: the PRP leadership, coalition parties, elders of the Orisunlagba Movement, and various support groups.
Describing the council as being built on the “Origun Mẹrin” (Four Pillars), Dr. Oyelami expressed confidence that the team possesses the experience and commitment required to mobilise support across the state and secure victory for the PRP, while prioritising the overall development of Osun State.
The Orisunlagba Campaign Council is coordinated by Hon. Alabi Solomon Adewale, who serves as Coordinating Secretary. Other members include Hon. Kassim Raji (Party Affairs), Hon. Majeed Folorunsho (Retirees/Elders Affairs), Comrade Abiodun Falodun (Logistics), Mr. Joseph Oyelami (New Media), Hon. Rotimi Williams (Publicity), Mr. Adekola Adejumo, Babatunde Yinka (Youth Affairs), Mr. Sanusi Majeed, Alhaji Shuaib Ahmad Tiamiyu, Akeeb Ọdẹyẹmi, Afolabi Oluwafunminiyi, Nathaniel Folorunsho (Religious Affairs), Mr. Adelani Aderibigbe (Artisan Groups), Iya Ibo, Hajia Imran (Women Affairs/Market Women), Hon. Olátúnjí Daramola, Mr. Rasaq Olarewaju (Special Duties), and Hon. Kay Oyebamiji (Professional Groups), among others.
The campaign structure also includes all Orisunlagba local and group coordinators, PRP local government and ward chairmen, as well as the party’s candidates across the state.
Addressing members of the campaign council, Dr. Oyelami urged them to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, integrity, and the fear of God. He reminded them that they had been entrusted with the responsibility of representing different constituencies across Osun State and working collectively to deliver victory for the PRP in the forthcoming governorship election.
He further charged members to effectively communicate the party’s three-point development agenda to the electorate, which focuses on Agriculture and Infrastructure, Employment and Education, and Health and Security.
“Our agenda is built on the enduring principles of the People’s Redemption Party as the only ideological political party in Nigeria. With the PRP, every son, daughter, and resident of Osun State stands to benefit once we form the next government. The masses of Osun will smile again,” Dr. Oyelami stated.
