The governorship candidate of the PRP in Osun State, Dr. Saliu Orisunlagba Oyelami, has expressed appreciation to the people of Iwo for the warm reception accorded him during his campaign tour ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
Addressing campaign coordinators at Ori Eru, Panada and Kara on Sunday, June 28, Dr. Orisunlagba commended the efforts of the Orisunlagba Campaign Council in the Ayiwola Federal Constituency, describing their grassroots mobilisation as impressive and encouraging.
He urged party members and supporters to sustain the momentum, remain united and continue engaging with residents across the constituency to promote the PRP’s vision for Osun State.
In a statement obtained by TheCaster News, the Iwo Chairman of PRP Team Orisunlagba, Mr. Qadri, commended the party’s governorship candidate for his courage, resilience and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people despite the prevailing political climate.
Mr. Qadri assured Dr. Orisunlagba of the continued support of party members in Iwo and pledged that the campaign structure would intensify grassroots mobilisation to ensure a strong outing for the PRP in the August 15 poll.
He expressed confidence that with sustained support from the electorate, Dr. Orisunlagba would emerge victorious at the governorship election.
