Honourable Chief Olalekan Fabayo
The Democratic Leadership Alliance (Dla) Has Appointed Osun-Based Media Manager, Honourable Chief Olalekan Fabayo, As The Acting State Treasurer (Protem) Of Its Osun State Chapter With Immediate Effect.
The Appointment Was Conveyed In a Letter Dated August 3, 2026, And Signed By The Party’s National Chairman, Barr. Samuel m. Memeh Obtained By Thecasternews.
According To The Letter, The Appointment Followed The Approval Of The National Executive Committee (Nec) And Was Made In Accordance With The Powers Vested In The National Chairman And The National Working Committee (Nwc) Under The Party’s Constitution.
As Acting State Treasurer, Fabayo Will Oversee And Coordinate The Financial Affairs Of The Party In Osun State. His Responsibilities Include Ensuring The Prudent Management And Accountability Of Party Funds And Assets, Maintaining Accurate Financial Records, And Promoting Transparency And Compliance With The Party’s Financial Regulations.
He Is Also Expected To Provide Regular Reports On The Financial Activities And Financial Position Of The Osun State Chapter To The National Working Committee.
The Party Stated That The Appointment Is Subject To Revocation In The Event Of Any Violation Of Its Constitution, Rules, Or Directives, Misconduct, Inability To Effectively Discharge The Duties Of The Office, Or Upon The Conduct Of Congresses To Elect Substantive State Executives.
