Hon. Olayiwola Oluwawemimo, popularly known as OLOBAWEMMY2027, a candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Ilesa East State Constituency, has unveiled a five-point agenda aimed at promoting good governance and grassroots development.
Addessing Journalistts on Monday, October 5, 2026, The agenda, tagged “OLOBAWEMMY Key Agenda,” focuses on good and accessible governance, youth and women empowerment, investment in local markets and community infrastructure, effective advocacy for Ilesa East, and the development of education, arts and the Ijesha entertainment sector.
According to Thecasternews, Under Good and Accessible Governance, Oluwawemimo pledged to maintain an open-door relationship with constituents, remain accessible, listen to their concerns and ensure responsive representation.
On Youth and Women Empowerment, he promised to champion vocational training, job opportunities, entrepreneurship support and digital skills acquisition for young people and women.
The candidate also promised to attract investment to local markets, community infrastructure and grassroots development, with particular attention to market structures, primary healthcare facilities and other pressing community needs.
Under Vocal Advocacy for Ilesa East, Oluwawemimo said he would provide the constituency with a stronger voice in the Osun State House of Assembly by consistently advocating for its economic, social, cultural and developmental interests.
The fifth pillar, Education, Arts and the Ijesha Entertainment Sector, focuses on creating opportunities for young people in education, entertainment, sports, arts, technology and creative enterprise.
According to him, the initiative would help local talents gain wider recognition and connect with opportunities beyond Ijesaland.
Oluwawemimo described the agenda as a commitment to providing “a new voice, a people-focused agenda and a stronger Ilesa East.”
