In a statement issued today through his media office, obtained by thecasternews, Chief Fabayo described the prolonged captivity of the victims as painful and unacceptable, saying the continued detention of innocent pupils and their teachers has caused untold hardship and emotional distress for their families and communities.

He urged the President, House Of Representatives, security agencies, and other relevant authorities to deploy all necessary resources to ensure the safe and immediate rescue of the abductees, stressing that the protection of lives and the safety of schoolchildren must remain a priority.

Fabayo also expressed concern over the increasing cases of kidnapping and insecurity across the country, warning that attacks on educational institutions pose a serious threat to learning and national development.

The abducted pupils and teachers were taken during attacks on three schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. The incident has continued to generate concern among residents and stakeholders, with renewed calls for urgent government intervention.

Chief Fabayo appealed to security operatives not to relent in their efforts and urged Nigerians to support ongoing measures aimed at securing the release of the victims and restoring confidence in the nation’s security system.
