Former Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor on Student Affairs and Social Mobilization and a member of the campaign committee of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), Honourable Kehinde Ayantunji, has criticized the Osun State Government, accusing it of relying on speculation and propaganda rather than facts and verifiable achievements.

Ayantunji made the remarks while reacting to claims made by the Osun State Commissioner for Information, Barrister Kolapo Alimi.

In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, “Kehinde Ayantunji,”  Obtained by thecasternews , he alleged that the current administration often resorts to unsubstantiated allegations and distractions whenever it faces public scrutiny.

According to him, “In the history of Osun State, no government has been reduced to mere speculation and conjecture as much as the present administration. Barrister Kolapo Alimi has reduced Osun Government to a platform for making unfounded claims, relying on faceless civil society groups and propaganda rather than verifiable facts and tangible achievements.”

Ayantunji further stated that governance should be anchored on transparency, accountability, and measurable results rather than political rhetoric. He challenged the government to provide evidence of its achievements and address issues affecting the people instead of engaging in what he described as unnecessary propaganda.

The AMBO campaign committee member maintained that the people of Osun are more interested in good governance and developmental projects than political exchanges, urging the administration to focus on delivering meaningful dividends of democracy to residents.
