Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola
The All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Assembly candidate for Ilesa West State Constituency, Hon. Abayomi Ojo, Esq., has called on the former Governor of Osun State and former Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, to sheathe his sword and reunite with the APC in Osun State.
According to the Thecasternews, Hon. Ojo made the call while featuring on Hope FM 91.3 Ilesa Yoruba Current Affairs Programme, Ninu Oṣelu, where he said the impact of Ogbeni Aregbesola had been significantly felt within the party.
According to him, the current situation involving Aregbesola and some members of the APC could be resolved through dialogue and reconciliation.
The APC candidate attributed the situation to what he described as actions by some members and leaders of the party, urging those involved to embrace peaceful coexistence and work towards reconciliation with Ogbeni Aregbesola, who currently serves as the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Hon. Ojo also appealed to APC members and residents of Ilesa West State Constituency to support his candidacy, expressing his commitment to representing the constituency if elected.
He urged voters to participate actively in the electoral process and exercise their franchise in accordance with their choice.
